Attached are various pictures regarding the earthquake that occured on August 15th of 2007 that caused so much destruction. Also, there is a lso a USGS video on the right, discussing this earthquake.
Although it has been almost 8 years since this terrible quake, and much has been done with repairs, especially in the more urban areas, the outlying areas still have so much visible damage and need. Our purpose here is to continue to bring focus on the rebuilding of this area of Peru.
This is what drove our building the mission in the San Juan Bautista district just north of the city of Ica. Your feedback and comments are encouraged. Any donations to this charity will directly go to the mission and it's operation. All staffing and travel by the missionaries working in this facility is covered by themselves. All donations will benefit the people directly and is 100% tax deductible to US tax payers.
Our efforts are to continue the outreach, assistance to the people of this immediate and surrounding village area, all low income families that seek what we all do in life, a chance to succeed and have a good life.
