2009

LAMA Founded

The Latin American Mission Association is established as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit to serve communities affected by the 2007 Peru earthquake.

2017-2018

Exploring Partnership

After years of prayer and discussion, we begin the formal process of training and preparation to join the YWAM global family of ministries.

2018

Official YWAM Partnership

LAMA officially becomes YWAM Ica, the 7th active YWAM site in Peru, combining our established mission work with world-class discipleship training.

2019

First DTS Launched

We launch our first official Discipleship Training School, including an international outreach to Bolivia, marking our expansion into global missions training.
