Building a Foundation of Hope
Much of evangelism is meeting the tangible needs of families who have lost hope. Through our “Homes of Hope” initiative and other mercy ministries, we are rebuilding lives and restoring dignity in Ica.
Our Projects in Action: Homes of Hope
Maria’s House (2016)
Our first construction project was for a single mother with two children living in a two-room house made of straw, with no indoor kitchen or bathroom. After months of negotiating with authorities for a sewer hookup, we were able to build them a secure home, providing safety and restoring dignity for a total cost of about $2,000 USD.

Lizbet’s House (2016)
A teenage helper at the mission, Lizbet, asked for help with a collapsing mud wall in her family’s home. Her father had the skills for the repair but couldn’t afford the materials. We provided the necessary plywood, allowing him to secure their home for a total cost of just over $100 USD.
Maribel’s House (2022)
This was by far the biggest project we have ever undertaken. A family of six was living in a cramped one-bedroom home with a dirt floor and plastic ceiling. We transformed it into a two-story home with four bedrooms and a second bathroom, giving them double the living space. The total cost was approximately $18,500, made possible by two fantastic donors from the USA.

Nellie’s Kitchen (2018-2019)
A widow named Nellie had a kitchen that was essentially outdoors, with a dirt floor, missing walls, and no reliable water supply. We planned a project to build her a secure, functional kitchen with a proper roof, floor, plumbing, and a water tank, restoring her ability to safely provide for her family for an estimated cost of $4,000 USD.
San Pedro ‘Off-Grid’ Bathroom (2021)
A new believer with a heart condition had an outhouse that was no longer usable. What began as a small toilet project became a full bathroom build after a donor couple stepped in. We installed a new septic system and built a proper bathroom with a flushable toilet, running water, and a shower for a total cost of $2,000 USD
Holistic Support Through Strategic Partnerships

Medical & Dental Care
We organize short-term mission trips for medical and dental professionals to provide free clinics and health education, partnering with Peruvian doctors to serve the community.

Clean Water
In partnership with Water4Life Ministry, we provide life-saving water filters to families. Each filter costs $50, removes harmful bacteria, and eliminates the need to boil water.

Disaster Relief
When local floods in 2017 washed away dozens of homes and jobs, our mission was there to provide immediate relief with food, water, and practical aid to our neighbors in their time of need.
The People We Serve
Kelly & Her Family
A Story of Hope
Kelly, a long-time mission volunteer, and her mother Giovana lived with their family in a crowded, damaged home with no clear kitchen and a terrible bathroom situation. Because of Kelly’s faithful service and her family’s need, their home was prioritized as our next major “Homes of Hope” project to provide them with a safe, healthy, and dignified living space. This including a kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms, for an estimated cost of over $5,000 USD.
