La Misión’s primary focus is evangelizing and discipling the children and teenagers in the rural villages surrounding our base in Ica, Peru.
We believe in reaching them through creative and active methods, using drama, dance, music, sports, and arts & crafts to teach God’s profound love.

Stronger Together: Our Partnership with Samaritan’s Purse
A key to our success is our strategic partnership with Samaritan’s Purse. This collaboration allows us to expand our reach and provide world-class discipleship materials to the children we serve. Through programs like “Operation Christmas Child,” we can deliver joy and the Gospel message through gift-filled shoeboxes. Following this, “The Greatest Journey” discipleship course gives children a chance to grow deeper in their faith.

Our Ministry Programs
A Place to Belong and Grow
Our programs for children are designed to be fun, formative, and faith-filled. We create a safe and loving environment where kids can learn about Jesus, build friendships, and discover their value in God’s eyes.
Discipleship Programs
We provide consistent, loving discipleship through our “Kings Kids” and AWANA (OANSA) programs, along with VBS-style teaching.
Samaritan’s Purse
“Operation Christmas Child” shoebox gifts and the “Gran Aventura” 12-week discipleship program.
Creative & Sports Outreach
Learning and growing through fun and engaging soccer, volleyball, baseball, music, and arts & crafts.
Guiding the Next Generation
With hundreds of teenagers in our community, our emerging teen ministry is a crucial area of outreach. We are creating a safe space for them to build community, ask tough questions, and grow in their faith.
Active Engagement
Connecting with teens through sports like soccer and volleyball, Bible studies, and mentorship.
Leadership Development
Creating new opportunities for teens to step into leadership roles within the ministry and their community.
Future Youth Center
Our plans for the teen ministry include a new youth center on our third floor and a newly-trained OANSA program.
